A thoughtful guide.
An informed choice.
Study Community College USA helps international students discover selected U.S. community colleges and understand their route to a bachelor’s degree.
How our service works
Explore programs and locations, understand the 2+2 pathway, and use the matching questionnaire to narrow your options. Prepare a plan you can discuss with the college and your family.
How colleges are researched
We organize published program information from four colleges and link to official sources. Each catalog record has a source and review date. International costs, intake availability and individual program eligibility require confirmation. Read our research methodology and coverage notes.
Study Community College USA is operated by Microsites LLC. The directory is a selected starting point, not a comprehensive ranking. College summaries link to official sources. Inclusion does not imply a partnership or endorsement.
How matching works
The quiz applies exact filters to subject and state. If you want transfer, it also requires a published transfer route. It explains each match. Budget, education and English level are shown as items to verify because current cost and entry thresholds have not been recorded. No match percentage or admission prediction is produced.
How we are funded
The planned service may receive compensation from participating institutions when students enroll. The planned application support does not carry a student advisory fee; other college and third-party charges still apply. Read the disclosure.
Verified information and dates
General visa and transfer references were reviewed on October 4, 2026. Current institutional costs and entry thresholds require confirmation. A page update date does not mean a college has approved the content.
Frequently asked questions
What is a community college?+
A U.S. community college offers undergraduate study that can lead to an associate degree. Some programs are designed for transfer to a four-year institution; others focus on career preparation. Check the purpose of the specific degree you choose.
Does 2+2 guarantee a university place?+
No. A transfer pathway depends on eligible credits, your grades, prerequisites and the university’s admissions rules. An agreement may have specific conditions. Plan courses with an adviser at both institutions.
Can international students apply?+
Many community colleges admit international students. For an F-1 pathway, confirm that the particular school and program can enroll F-1 students and issue Form I-20. Academic admission and visa approval are separate decisions.
How much will I need to budget?+
Use the college’s current international tuition and fees, plus housing, meals, insurance, books, transportation and travel. Budget for the transfer university too. Follow the official college links for current international cost estimates.
Do I need IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo or the SAT?+
Requirements differ by college and program. Check accepted tests, minimum scores, score validity and any approved alternatives directly with the institution. A test being listed does not mean every program accepts it.
Is application support really free?+
The planned service will not charge students an advisory fee for participating-college application support. College application charges, tuition, tests, visa costs and third-party services are separate. This preview offers a downloadable preparation plan; live adviser submissions are not yet connected.
How does Study Community College USA earn money?+
The planned service may receive compensation from participating institutions when students enroll. Our directory is a selection of colleges, not a comprehensive list or ranking. Directory inclusion does not imply a partnership or endorsement.
